Our Story

When Sammi booked a spontaneous trip to California back in fall of 2017, her cousin introduced her to a gorgeous boutique in the North Park neighborhood. The space was full of macrame home decor, vibrant green plants and of course - jewelry. Naturally, Sammi beelined to a table full of dainty, feminine pieces. She was drawn to a unique ring with a simple, hammered circle.

This trip was booked as a much needed reset. So, Sammi turned that ring into a promise: She was going to spend the next year saving money to move to California!

Considering the ring was always on her hand, it became a constant reminder. Every day, she took time to really think about the commitment she made to herself. What she didn’t expect was the excitement of that promise to fade as she discovered it was not what she really wanted. Her “dream” held a deeper message: to live life by her own design. Stop letting outside opinions decide what path she would take. Stop making personal decisions that didn’t feel totally right just to protect other peoples feelings. It was time Sammi lived life by making decisions aligned with her personal values and deepest desires.

Sammi believes she wouldn’t have uncovered this without her ring. A simple piece of jewelry became a wearable reminder that transformed into a life lesson.

The point here - jewelry goes beyond aesthetic. It holds deep meaning; like a promise to yourself, a way to celebrate life’s milestones, to commemorate an important person, to capture a moment in time with your besties… you get the idea. Just like a picture, your jewelry holds a thousand words.

About Sammi

I always had a dream to own my own jewelry boutique however it was never something I pursued. I skipped college to spend several years in the beauty industry followed by several years managing a luxury athletic retail store. My career path was full of personal development. I learned about my leadership style, business & branding, how to delegate, shifted from “manager” to leader & coach, completed yoga teacher training, found my voice, transformed & healed relationships and wayyy more.

This beautiful journey that came to an end in 2022 when I stepped into one of the most important titles of my life - becoming a stay at home mom of two under two. Spending months away from a job gave me time to think about what I wanted to do next. This time also gave me the deepest insights into who I am at my core. From the most challenging moments come the most beautiful life lessons.

One summer day, I was scrolling TikTok and discovered permanent jewelry. A few months later, I got a permanent bracelet of my own. What started out as me wanting jewelry for myself turned into a dream come true. In the moment that chain was welded around my wrist, I realized: “This is it!”

I believe I needed to experience these other things in life to give me the willpower, drive and determination needed to start my own business. We officially launched in February 2023 and had one helluva year (according to my bookkeeper and CPA). LOL. We’re just getting started!

I’m a total Gemini. My favorite color is green. I love seals and hawks. You won’t find me eating pickles or peanut butter. I’ve never broken a bone (knock on wood). My favorite movie is Hook (IYKYK). I’ve been fascinated by manifestation backed by neuroscience. I’m always checking EWG to make healthy(er) product swaps. I’ll never wear mis-matched socks. I prefer veggies over fruits. And I’m currently going through tattoo removal. Do we have anything in common? I’d love to know.
